Prisoners programme

The Prisoner Programme for mental health aims at improving the quality of life of both prisoners with mental health problems and the prison population as a whole. This is the very reason why the organisation introduced mental health services for juveniles, adult male and female offenders of Mzuzu Prison in 1997.

Current programmes that are being put in place are to provide structured short term vocational skills training programmes, comprehensive psycho-social services, rights awareness and advocacy in 6 prisons in the country.
