‘Run for Rita’ raises over €4,700 for Suzanne House

This year marked the 5th annual ‘Run for Rita’, a 5km run/walk, in memory of Rita Savage, which this year raised vital funds for Suzanne House. The event took place in Tymon Park, Dublin 24, on Saturday, 24rd March 2018 and saw over 350 people take part.

Pictured at the cheque presentation of funds raised by the run are Niamh Cooney, Suzanne House and Glenda Curtis, Run for Rita organiser.

Suzanne House is a community respite service, located in the heart of Tallaght Village. Families of all walks of life pass through the doors of the service, all with one thing in common, they have a child with complex medical needs and life-limiting conditions.

Families of the children at Suzanne House take great comfort in the fact that their children are being cared for in a home-like environment, one which is safe, secure and comfortable. Annually, 16 children attend Suzanne House.

To continue to improve, expand and provide the highest level of support to children at Suzanne House fundraising is vital.
